A Penny for your Thoughts?

I'm working on a new textile design based on the jolly ol' Penny Farthing. Top hat, moustache, cloak. This iconic bumbling contraption holds a special place in my heart. Design wise it's nothing less than baffling, visually it's stunning. In my little brain box I imagine Jack the Ripper hurtling through Whitechapel, spokes roaring, cloak flapping, mist parting. Foolishness I know, for where would he keep his lady friends?......
