I'm back after an amazing trip to Madrid, I'm truly broke, I could sleep for a year and I doubt my liver will ever recover from that spirit to alcohol ratio....But lordy weren't it beautiful!?

Madrid is a city of finely weaved contrasts. From the austere and breathtaking Prado Museum to the contemporary and occasionally baffling Reina Sofia. The ancient architecture to the bright young artisans laughing and smoking in cool defiance of death. The summer Hell to the winter chill. All side by side, hand in hand and as in love as ever.
